A native of Long Beach, Mississippi, who was one of the
youngest college coaches when he was named Head Coach at
Phillips College at 22. He has been named Coach of the
Year 6 times and has won 9 League or Conference
Championships during his coaching career. Tucker has as
well become known and has the reputation for building or
rebuilding pro basketball franchises.
